I take care of everyone in the studio as a family.
I have been traveling because of music, so I truly understanding about the importance of musical family.
Aviva is a wonderfully patient and creative teacher who understands what it is like to be a kid learning to play. Her students really are individuals for her and she recognizes their strengths and struggles. My daughter Sigrid (9) began lessons in person after Aviva was recommended to us by my older daughter’s violin teacher at South Side Suzuki. But when we moved outside of Chicago, Aviva kindly allowed us to continue over Zoom, and she has become a real master of the medium. With Aviva’s multiple camera angles that can show either her face or her hands on the keyboard, and her on-screen notes to the sheet music, I feel that Sigrid is getting the full experience even though we are not in the same place. Our family really is happy to be a part of Aviva’s studio!

Aviva is a passionate and dedicated teacher and musician! We really enjoy taking classes with her. Aviva is creative in a way to tailor her communication and delivery to each student while keeping up with detail and disciplined in practice an instrument. Both of my daughters, Maia (7) and Leia (5) are very lucky to have Aviva to be their teacher to inspire them!

We firmly believe that listening to, enjoying, and playing music has such a powerful effect on the brain. We wanted a music teacher who would provide an exceptional learning experience for our 5-year old daughter. We heard about Aviva through a friend. We reached out to her and immediately felt the special connection. She incorporates music theory, singing, listening and playing into her lessons and makes sure the kids also have fun. In addition, Aviva hosts monthly performance classes using a recital format to help kids build their confidence by playing in front of others. Aviva exceeds every expectation. We especially love that she takes the time to consider our child’s unique characteristics and uses that information to form the foundation for her lessons. Just as important, Aviva loves our daughter and considers her part of her family. We really appreciate her and love her too.
